If you go to Deviantart, you've probably heard of Ustream. For the unaware, Ustream is a site where you can broadcast a program live off of a webcam. If you have the right programs (and I do), you can stream stuff off your desktop. And show the digital drawing process! Yay.
I've done a couple of Ustream shows but the only attention they garnered was from perverts who were not as into artwork as they were a/s/l. However... I've thought of a different kind of show that works like this:
1. You tune into my show. On the page is a chatroom; there, you request I draw something.
2. I draw it while you watch.
3. We all talk and have general fun while I draw pictures for people.
There would be some restrictions on what I'd draw for you--for starters, nothing rated higher than PG[-13] and it would have to be fairly simple so I could get to multiple people in one show. Also, the other rule is NO PERSONAL QUESTIONS. Ask a personal question and I will boot you. =[ but after that, the sky is the limit.
I wouldn't be able to do a broadcast like this immediately, but if we can all pick a day than that would be a huge step forward.
